Sigma Alpha is a professional agriculture sorority that promotes Women in Agriculture. We pride ourselves in scholarship, leadership & service.
Some of our major activities include: Grant County Family Night, World Dairy Expo, Ag on the Farm, Regional Leadership Seminar with Alpha Gamma Rho, Sisterhood Retreats, awards banquets, and much, much, more.
We currently have 53 members with 5 membership candidates.
Sigma Alpha is a great way to meet other young ladies who have a strong interest and passion for agriculture. Through Sigma Alpha, the sisters build lifelong friendships and memories that will never be forgotten.
Sigma Alpha is a national agriculture sorority. There are over 80 chapters and 7,000 sisters across the country.
Sigma Alpha is open to any female who is majoring in an agriculture related field or who has a strong passion for agriculture. We meet every Monday night at 5:30 p.m. in Russell Hall.
